Through a kinetic structure that reacts to weight, the users have to understand their position in the collective. They are exposed to actions that trigger reactions, which affect the placement and displacement of the crowd.

A “rhizomatic” model for society opposes the organizational structure of the centralized system, which looks for the original source of things. Instead, it presents history and culture as a wide array of influences with no specific origins, for a rhizome has no beginning or end.*

wove’n move’n is based on this model, with the purpose of raising awareness of the hierarchy structures we have in our society.

The experimentation in and with the dance floor explores crowd dynamics and collective behavior from the point of view of equality, equity, balance, and empathy. The cultural revolution shall come from the places where we disrupt the moral codes. This dance floor is a prototype, but if implemented in a real life situation, it would have the power to connect people and ideas.
